In brief: I'm a professional speaker, business consultant and a Web developer, so you're getting the benefit of my teaching skills, my strategic advice for your Web site and my technical skills.

Since 1997, I've been working with business owners - mainly in Australia, but also in New Zealand, South Africa, the U.K., Singapore and Canada - to build their Web sites and on-line strategy.

I'm not just a Web designer, though. I'm also a professional speaker and consultant. I've presented at international conferences, run training workshops around Australia, coach and mentor business owners with their on-line success, and regularly conduct teleseminars and webinars. I'm not saying this to show off; I'm saying it so you know that you're getting an experienced presenter, not just a techie who's going to fumble and mumble for two days!

Why does this matter to you?

When I started my business, some people were sceptical about the power of the Internet, and a few even questioned whether it was just a passing fad! Now of course we know it's an essential part of business, and having a Web site is as important as having a phone number.

Working with business owners over the years has taught me many things about what they consider important in a Web site. For example, I know it's not about pretty graphics and flashing lights; and it's not about creating a static electronic brochure that can't be changed (except at great expense). On the other hand, it is about creating a Web site that you can change easily, that doesn't go out of date, that reflects your business strategy, and that you're proud to refer people to in all your promotions.
